About the Role As a Stop Loss Analyst, you'll work closely with Sales Executives, Account Executives, and Account Managers as the analytical engine behind new and renewal stop loss business. You’ll focus on gathering and reviewing data, preparing marketing and renewal materials, and surfacing the insights that inform pricing and placement decisions - giving your team what they need to present confidently and win business. Responsibilities include: Renewal & New Business Analysis: Analyze claims experience, loss ratios, census data, and marketing results for assigned stop loss renewals and new business to support rate and plan recommendations. Marketing Analysis & Carrier Tracking: Once a marketing spread is ready, take ownership of tracking carrier responses and analyzing comparative marketing summaries to support Sales and Account team decision-making on new and renewal business. Renewal Exhibits, Reporting & Policy Review: Build and maintain renewal exhibits, experience reports, and other analytical materials used throughout the presale and renewal process; review policy documentation for accuracy and stay engaged through the sold case to help ensure a seamless transition to binding. File & Data Maintenance: Own electronic file set-up and maintenance for all actively managed cases, along with ongoing documentation of account analysis, decisions, and marketing activity. Carrier & Underwriter Coordination: Respond to carrier and underwriter data requests accurately and on time to keep marketing and renewal timelines on track. Cross-Functional Carrier Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with carrier, underwriting, and claims contacts throughout the renewal and new business lifecycle to resolve outstanding items and keep accounts moving forward. Internal Collaboration: Serve as an analytical resource and liaison to Sales Executives, Account Executives, and Account Managers - supporting their work with timely, accurate data rather than direct client-facing service. Client Services Support: Join calls with Brokers and Employer Groups as needed to help answer questions and move renewals and new business across the finish line. Workload Prioritization: Plan and prioritize a pipeline of renewal and new business submissions across multiple accounts, balancing deadlines and shifting priorities. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need: Experience: 3+ years in Group Benefits, Stop Loss, or a related insurance analytics/underwriting support function preferred.
