About this role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Developer (Digital Marketing) based in United Kingdom. Join a fast-growing performance marketing environment where digital advertising expertise and strategic partnerships drive commercial growth. As a Business Developer, you will identify new business opportunities and build relationships with advertisers, publishers, affiliates, agencies, and other key players across the digital advertising ecosystem. You will take ownership of prospecting, outreach, pipeline development, and negotiations, helping transform promising contacts into profitable partnerships. Working closely with internal teams, you will assess market opportunities, evaluate commercial potential, and ensure new deals align with operational capabilities. This role is suited to an experienced, commercially minded professional who thrives on autonomy, proactive communication, and measurable results. You will have the opportunity to shape business growth, expand your industry network, and develop your career in a remote, international setting. \n Accountabilities: As a Business Developer (Digital Marketing), you will drive partnership acquisition and commercial development by building a strong pipeline, negotiating viable agreements, and identifying new opportunities across the performance marketing landscape. Your key responsibilities will include: • Business development and pipeline management: Identify and research potential business opportunities, build and maintain a pipeline of advertisers, agencies, publishers, affiliates, networks, traffic partners, and other relevant prospects. • Prospecting and outreach: Engage decision-makers through email, LinkedIn, industry contacts, conferences, and other appropriate channels. Initiate conversations, qualify leads, present the network's value proposition, and organize discovery calls. • Commercial negotiations: Understand partner requirements, traffic potential, offer conditions, and performance expectations. Negotiate commercial terms, including CPA, CPL, revenue share, payouts, caps, payment conditions, and traffic commitments. • Opportunity qualification: Assess the commercial viability, revenue potential, partner quality, and strategic fit of prospective deals. Coordinate internally before confirming commercial terms or operational commitments. • Deal development and closing: Progress opportunities from initial contact through negotiation to signed agreements or qualified handovers, maintaining consistent follow-ups throughout the process. • Market research and opportunity mapping: Research relevant markets, verticals, competitors, traffic sources, partner categories, and industry trends to identify new geographies and growth opportunities. • Market intelligence: Monitor partner demand, pricing structures, competitive activity, and performance trends. Maintain target lists for prospecting and industry events, and share actionable insights with management. • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal teams to evaluate offer potential, traffic compatibility, tracking requirements, and operational feasibility. • Partner relationship management: Establish professional, trustworthy relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders through clear communication, reliable follow-ups, and effective coordination. • Documentation and onboarding: Keep commercial opportunities properly documented, support the onboarding of new partners after agreements are reached, and ensure smooth handovers to relevant teams. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings previous experience in business development or a related commercial role within digital advertising, performance marketing, or the broader adtech ecosystem. You should be confident in B2B outreach and negotiation, commercially analytical, and comfortable managing opportunities independently in a fast-paced environment. The key qualifications include: • Relevant experience: Previous experience in business development, sales, partnerships, affiliate marketing, performance marketing, adtech, digital advertising, or a closely related commercial field. • B2B relationship building: Strong understanding of commercial prospecting, partnership development, and building lasting professional relationships. • Independent prospecting: Ability to identify, approach, engage, and qualify potential partners without constant supervision. • Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to present commercial propositions clearly and professionally. • Sales and negotiation: Confidence in pitching, conducting follow-ups, handling objections, leading commercial discussions, and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements. • Commercial judgment: Ability to assess revenue potential, partner quality, business fit, and the viability of potential deals. • Organization and discipline: Strong pipeline management, CRM, documentation, and follow-up habits, with the ability to prioritize competing opportunities effectively. • Ownership and initiative: A proactive, hands-on approach, sound decision-making, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. • Affiliate and performance marketing knowledge: Experience with affiliate marketing, lead generation, advertising networks, affiliate networks, or performance marketing businesses is an advantage. • Industry network: Existing relationships with advertisers, publishers, affiliates, agencies, networks, or traffic partners are a plus. • Commercial models and tracking: Familiarity with CPA, CPL, revenue share, payout models, caps, tracking links, postbacks, pixels, and campaign performance metrics is beneficial. • Vertical expertise: Experience in areas such as Dating, Nutra, iGaming, Sweepstakes, Finance, Lead Generation, or similar verticals is an advantage. • Industry events: Experience preparing for and attending relevant conferences is desirable. • Analytics and reporting: Familiarity with tracking tools, dashboards, and performance reporting is a plus. • Application requirement: Please submit your CV in English. Benefits: • Competitive salary based on experience and seniority. • Performance-based bonus opportunities. • Fully remote, full-time employment. • Permanent employment with an international, fast-growing performance marketing business. • Significant ownership and responsibility, with opportunities to influence commercial growth. • Career development and room to grow based on performance and results. • Opportunity to expand your professional network across the digital advertising and performance marketing ecosystem. \n How Jobgether works: We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
