About the Role As an Interior Designer at Journey, you'll have the opportunity to learn by working across a diverse range of projects alongside a collaborative team, you'll build new skills, contribute to meaningful design work, and gain exposure to different stages of the creative process. You'll collaborate with designers, strategists, clients, consultants, and fabricators to help develop design concepts and bring them to life with creativity, care, rigor, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following Assist senior designers to conceptualize and develop design schemes for projects. Actively contribute to design and documentation of projects through all project phases under the direction of more senior members. Participate in client meetings and craft elaborate client presentations to communicate design concepts effectively. Conduct research on materials, products, and trends to inform design decisions. Create and produce detailed models and design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD under the direction of more senior members. Select and specify architectural finishes. Design, detail and specify custom FF&E. Coordinate with vendors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Candidate Qualifications & Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in interior design, B.Arch. or B.S in Architecture from an accredited school 2 to 7 years of post-graduate design experience in an architectural and/or interior design studio. Ability to work in Revit and Enscape. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus Ability to model in Rhino or Revit Proficiency in presentation software like Adobe Creative Suite, Google slides and Power Point Excellent communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with designers across the firm Desirable Experience in hospitality interior design Contract Type: Full time Location: Our Miami studio in Florida. This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both a 2-day remote and a 3-day in-person commitment in our Miami studio.
