Kitchen Porter

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in Cork, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual seeking to contribute to a busy, professional kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety whilst supporting our kitchen team in delivering exceptional service. Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout all kitchen areas, including food preparation and storage spaces - Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with environmental and organisational guidelines Support the receipt, inspection, and correct storage of deliveries and stock items - Perform daily and deep cleaning schedules as directed, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are sanitised to the required standard - Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks and general kitchen duties as required - Follow all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures at all times Maintain organised and efficient workflow within the kitchen, contributing to a collaborative team environment - Handle kitchen equipment and utensils with care, ensuring proper storage and maintenance - Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and management staff, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach - Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive kitchen culture Positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to excellence - Reliable, hardworking, and punctual approach to work - Strong ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team - Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment - Unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards - Physical stamina and capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks - Good manual dexterity and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly - Basic communication skills and willingness to take direction Genuine enthusiasm for learning and professional development - Previous kitchen porter, catering, or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive induction and training will be provided - Awareness of food safety and health and safety procedures (training provided) - Flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing kitchen demands About Aramark  Aramark Ireland is a leader in food, facilities, and workplace services, supporting clients across healthcare, education, business, and the public sector.
