Catering Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team in Kildysart, Ireland. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional food service and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Working collaboratively with our catering team, you will support the preparation, presentation, and service of meals while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Assist with the preparation and presentation of food items, following established recipes and procedures Serve meals and refreshments to customers with a friendly and professional demeanor Replenish food counters and service areas to maintain efficient operations during service periods Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards Perform washing up and general kitchen duties, including equipment maintenance Support stock rotation and proper food storage procedures to minimize waste Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures consistently Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members Assist the catering team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment A positive and enthusiastic attitude toward work and customer service Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals Strong ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team Good communication skills, both verbal and written Reliable and flexible approach to work with strong time management abilities Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods during shifts Attention to detail and organizational skills Basic numeracy skills for stock management and inventory tasks Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures About Aramark  Aramark Ireland is a leader in food, facilities, and workplace services, supporting clients across healthcare, education, business, and the public sector.
