Catering Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our dynamic catering team in Swords, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy catering environment, supporting the delivery of outstanding food and customer service whilst developing your skills as part of a friendly and collaborative team. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness throughout our catering facility. - Assist with food preparation and service delivery in a fast-paced catering environment, responding flexibly to changing priorities - Perform washing up, cleaning, and general housekeeping duties to maintain a hygienic and organised workspace Follow all food hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times, demonstrating commitment to maintaining safe working practices - Support colleagues to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery, contributing to a welcoming and inclusive working environment - Provide excellent customer service to all customers with a positive and empathetic approach Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the catering facility, paying close attention to detail in all assigned duties - Assist with stock management and basic inventory tasks as directed, demonstrating organisational skills - Demonstrate resilience and efficiency when working under pressure during busy service periods - Maintain personal hygiene standards and adhere to all health and safety regulations consistently **What We Are Seeking:** - A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and customer service - Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers - Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues when required - Reliable and flexible approach to work, with good time keeping and punctuality Commitment to maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and food hygiene - Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods - Attention to detail and strong organisational skills - Willingness to follow instructions and procedures consistently - Ability to work under pressure and remain resilient during busy periods Basic numeracy skills for stock management tasks **Desirable Experience:** - Previous experience in catering or food service (however, full induction and training will be provided) **Essential Requirements:** - Enhanced DBS check required - Legal right to work in Ireland - Willingness to undergo food hygiene training as part of your induction - Commitment to maintaining personal hygiene standards and adhering to health and safety procedures About Aramark  Aramark Ireland is a leader in food, facilities, and workplace services, supporting clients across healthcare, education, business, and the public sector.
