Food Service Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Food Service Assistant to join our dynamic catering team in Donegal, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and hygiene. You will play a vital role in supporting our food service operations, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for all our customers. Replenish food counters and service areas throughout service periods, ensuring stock levels are maintained and displays remain attractive and well-organised - Maintain exemplary standards of cleanliness and hygiene within kitchen and dining areas, adhering to all relevant procedures - Assist with washing up, food preparation support, and general housekeeping duties in a timely and efficient manner Follow all food safety, allergen awareness, and health and safety procedures with meticulous attention to detail - Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment - Respond promptly to customer requests and queries, demonstrating a friendly and helpful approach at all times Support portion control and stock management activities, maintaining accurate records where required - Demonstrate flexibility and resilience when adapting to changing priorities and busy service periods - Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving service delivery and operational efficiency A positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service - Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers - Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team - Reliable, flexible, and punctual approach to work with strong time-keeping abilities Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment whilst maintaining attention to detail - Physical stamina and capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks - Desirable: Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service environments - Desirable: Understanding of food hygiene, allergen awareness, and health and safety practices Willingness to learn and develop new skills through induction and ongoing training - Organised approach to work with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively - Resilience and adaptability when managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously - Commitment to maintaining inclusive and supportive working relationships with all team members About Aramark  Aramark Ireland is a leader in food, facilities, and workplace services, supporting clients across healthcare, education, business, and the public sector.
